The brief for the Logo design demanded “outdoors, rock climbing, sustainability, and fun”. Target audience is young, enthusiasts. They understand things as it appears. So we decided to add a figure involved in the action. Climbing walls is a tough job. So it was important to show the figure in full control of the risks. We selected a thick font for the sake of visibility and boldness. Color black talks about authority, dependability.In short we wanted to ensure the logo to have a direct association to the brand.
